Winch plate that can be mounted on shop floor for pulling in non running vehicles. Plate is designed to be used with Harbor Freight Badland ZXR 5000 Winch (Not Included) and mounted with these 1" female concrete inserts or similar studs McMastercarr - 97083A540. (4000PSI 4" concrete minimum)
Product is designed for lightweight vehicles that do not exceed the 5,000lb capacity of ZXR winch. This is not a lifting device! This plate must be attached to a concrete floor, and is intended for horizontal vehicle pulling ONLY.
Winch plate can be purchased assembled and painted, or individual pieces as a DIY kit where you weld and paint the items.
Both kits will come with hardware for mounting the ZXR winch.

I went for the DIY kit, please don't cheap out if you're not a welder. For the purpose it's performing, it's a critical anchor that is pulling your vehicle. THAT BEING SAID, this is a beautifully supplied set of parts. The cuts are clean, the fit up is perfect and the preparation is minimal. All I had to do was hit my joints with a quick roloc disc on my die grinder. Stu really has a great product here, I had fun building it, and the included instructions were insanely detailed. If you are not a welder, pay the extra 100 bucks to have it done right. If you ARE, this is a fun piece to build. I think the offset is properly priced considering your gas, wire and time. Get this thing for your project, it is absolutely awesome!
I have a boat house with a ramp down to the water and I need to winch my jet ski trailer up into the garage to store them during the off season. As there's only a door on the lake side I had to use a winch to haul the trailer up the ramp and into the garage but was worried about how to best mount the winch to reduce stress on the concrete floor and also raise the winch up a bit to accommodate the sloped drive. I stumbled across this product during a google search and ordered the assembled/painted unit. It arrive quickly and works perfectly for my application!
